REMEMBER YOU CAN INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO THE EVENT BUT IT WILL TAKE LONGER THE MORE PEOPLE WE HAVE AND WILL INCREASE THE DIFFICULTY!
A FROST COVERED NIGHT
Date of Event: To be Announced (under construction)
So I was thinking, how can I support having a D&D night with the number of people interested in the event. After looking at the amount of paperwork people would need to fill out, read through, and understand. Let alone would need to work together to figure out I came up with a solution. In this form of D&D there will be no limit to the number of players, the required character sheets, or even who needs to be fit for each role. The story will unfold in different ways.

Back Story
"The night faded in as a soft chill, as the town glowed a violent red. Fire was set to push back what was once our loved ones, and what was left, is this desolate few in our group. We found ourselves huddled in a trapper shack just outside of town. there must have not been enough rations to last more then a few nights. We need to find a"...
The letter was cut short as the man drew his last breath. Many days have pasted since the outbreak set in. No one knew what started it, but what they did know is that a single person could infect a city in a day... |
HOW WILL IT WORK
What would you do if you knew that your city was starting to turn? As the lone survivors of a neighboring town, you must find what you can while trying to survive. Armed with what you find and just 3 M1903 Springfield (3 Max, lower count means lower equipment numbers), each with five bullets loaded into them. There will be no limit to what you can do in the town and if the story line progresses far enough another town will be presented. The map above is the base map for this operation and each instance may be fatal. I will also look into breaking down the town into subsections and each building into its own micro scenario.
IS THIS STILL D&D?
Yes and no. We will not be hunting dragons any time soon or going into any dungeons, but it will still have the D&D aspects as in each attack and movement will be controlled by the player and a dice roll. Looking around the building may lead to different outcomes or even finding different things, but a fight will always take place before you can explore a new location if there is one present.
Before each exploration we will discuss the order of entrance into the location stating the order of command and rolling. Each person may have their own way to enter or observe the building/environment, but the person that is designated to go first will interact with it first.
If you are not aware of the area before you start moving you may end up dead before you get a chance to react.
